Will i own my website?
If we have created a website for you and you have paid us for it, then you will own the intellectual property rights to the website files. In other words…yes.
Will i be able to update my website?
If you have paid for your site to be built with a site manager (or content manager as it is also called), then you will be able to update the content on your site yourself.
Otherwise, you will need to send your updates to us and we will change the website for you. We will charge you for however long it takes us to make the changes.
Our charges are £30+VAT for half an hour (our minimum charge) and £50+VAT for an hour.
How much does it cost to update my site?
You would purchase a number of hours worth of work (+VAT) in advance (one off payment or standing order), depending on how many updates you expect to need for your website over a period of time. The advantage of this, is that the time taken to do the work is deducted from the total time (e.g.10 mins) rather than our minimum charge being applied of £30+VAT for half an hour. The time purchased remains available to you until it has been used up, there is no time limit. Minimum purchase is 1 hour (£50+VAT).
How can i access my websites backend?
You can access your backend via one of the following extensions onto your homepage:
for e-commerce shops = yourdomain.co.uk/_default.asp
for databased websites = yourdomain.co.uk/manager
Maintenance
