The UK National Defence Association (UKNDA) formally launched today with a press conference at the Churchill Museum, in the Cabinet Wars rooms, Westminster.
The UKNDA came to Web-Feet in August looking for a new website, not only represent the organisation but to also provide the main avenue for members to join.
Initially with just a few hundred members, the aim of the organisation is to get initially 10,000 members and beyond in the next few months - something that they knew Web-Feet could both create and help maintain.
We initially redesigned the initial website, which went live on the 5th October, this was immediately met with great comments from not only members of the policy board but also ex forces personnel and members of the public.
Before the formal launch today, we also provided the UKNDA with the marketing materials needed for such a launch - these included popup banners, podium board and business cards - all at very short notice.
The UKNDA website is a dynamic database driven site, not only well optimised for the best search engine results but also very easy for the Policy Board to update without them needing to have any level of html programming ability! This site can then grow with the organisation with the next stages of growth already planned.
We assisted both before the event uploading infomation into the news / category pages along with amendments to the membership system and we attended the event, taking photos and making live updates to the news items as the various speakers including Cdr John Muxworthy, Winston S. Churchill and General The Lord Guthrie.
Of course this is just the beginning of the UK National Defence Association and Web-Feet will continue to maintain the site, taking the video and images provided from the numerous media organisations in attendance at the event and posting these online as required.
"Our web-site: www.uknda.org is the main weapon in the UKNDA's armoury. It takes our message to the British people - and brings the British people to us. We have been delighted with the work 'Web-Feet' have done for us and Andy Coley, in particular, has been a tower of strength and enthusiasm for what we all seek to achieve - sufficient, appropriate and fully funded armed forces". Winston S Churchill.
Web-Feet has over 450 clients, many of which are large database driven sites or e-commerce shops so if we can help your company or organisation in the same way, call Gillian on 023 8027 0787.
