What is hosting?
Hosting is the space on a server where the files that make up your website are held. It is also the space where your email addresses are set up and managed.
Think of it as your house, which contains your furniture (website files), and your domain name is like the address of the house.
Do I have to have hosting?
Yes! No hosting, means no website!
How often will I have to pay for hosting?
Your hosting will be renewed on a yearly basis. How much it costs depends on what package you buy.
What do web-feet’s hosting packages include?Enhanced: Website hosting on shared Windows or Linux server, statistics, FTP, control panel, email addresses (3 with spam and virus filtering included).
Extreme: Website hosting on Web-Feet dedicated server, SQL Server, statistics, FTP, control panel, pop email addresses.
Hyperformance: Website hosting on Web-Feet dedicated server (max 10 customers per server), SQL Server, statistics, FTP, control panel, pop email addresses.
Advanced mailboxes, Exchange Mailboxes and direct MX record pointing are also available, please contact us for information on charges etc.
When do I cancel my existing services?As soon as your new site goes live! If you aren’t sure, contact us and we’ll let you know.
