Another name for your email account which is identified by your email address. So, emails sent to your email address would end up in your mailbox (can be called a POP3 account). |

We offer the following email services as part of our hosting packages:
Forwarders
You can have as many forwarding addresses set up as you want and emails can be forwarded to any other email address.
Standard mailboxes
- You can have as many mailboxes set up as you want and your emails can be collected in MS Outlook or similar application.
- Access to your emails via the internet using webmail.
For sending emails you would use your ISP and the sender address shown on those emails would be the one provided by your ISP (e.g. myname @myISP.com) unless they offer "3rd party mail relay".
- Maximum number of emails allowed in mailbox: 500
- Maximum mailbox size: 20MB
Advanced mailboxes
- You can have as many mailboxes set up as you want and your emails can be collected in MS Outlook or similar application.
- Access to your emails via the internet using webmail.
- Spam and virus filtering:
- block sender list - permanently block an email address (or domain) if they persistantly send you unwanted emails
- safe sender list - permanently allow someone to send you emails that bypass the spam and virus filter
- adjust the strength of the filtering to remove or allow more emails
- Roaming SMTP - easily send email wherever you are as you don't have to use your ISP to send emails and the sender address shown on those emails would be the same as the one that normally use, e.g. yourname @yourdomain.co.uk.
- Direct mailbox control panel access, enabling you to administer your own mailbox
As part of our enhanced hosting package you get 3 advanced mailboxes included, any subsequent advanced mailboxes would cost £20+VAT per year.
- Maximum number of emails allowed in mailbox: unlimited
- Maximum mailbox size: 1GB
Exchange mailboxesBusiness-grade email with optional mobile push email. Features include:
- Shared contacts, calendaring, tasks and public folders
- Free Outlook 2003 licence
- Outlook Web Access web mail
- ActiveSync and Outlook Mobile Access
- GoodLink for email pushed directly to your Pocket PC, Windows Mobile or Palm device
- POP3 and IMAP support
- 2 GB storage space
- Direct mailbox control panel access.
Any mailbox can be upgraded to Exchange for £100+VAT per year.
