Database driven sites or sites with a content management system are those which allow the site owner to update their website simply and effectively via a simple to use site manager. Once logged in it’s possible to change text, add pages, upload new content and in fact update a sites meta tags to optimise its search engine rankings. There is no need for special or complicated software as everything is done online via a web browser. This flexibility is essential if it’s a requirement to make regular updates to a site without the need to rely on a third party.
