Web-Feet was established as a web design company in the summer of 1999. If we're honest we weren't entirely sure where things were headed back then and we're pleased to say that they actually turned out pretty well. Based from a bedroom in the founders house in Chandlers Ford, it quickly became apparent that either a bigger house was required or some offices!
Any business owner will appreciate that these are scary steps for any new business but with everything guaranteed by the directors, local premises were found above what was Safeway's on Winchester Road in Chandlers Ford. Well that was back in 2001 and we've been here ever since although taking up increasing amounts of space as we go. Currently we occupy the majority of the space above what is now Somerfields and have recently fitted out a new presentation facility where we intend to give seminars to both our existing clients as well as what we hope will be future clients.
We very much associate our on-going success with the fact that we are extremely proud of our work and also with our dedication to doing a good job. These guiding principles are embedded in the way we continue to run our business. We are very excited that in 2008 our ecommerce sites will have likely generated over £10m in revenue for our customers, up from over £6m in 2007. We are also very excited when our websites receive awards and recognition for our customers which we are pleased to say has happened a few times during the last few years.
Obviously we appreciate being successful isn't just about delivering good web based solutions and we are always looking to improve both our capabilities and our levels of customer service. During the last 2 years we have invested heavily in people, systems and processes that help us manage projects more effectively as well as provide ongoing support when our customers need it.
